Crystal Redmond Crump

COFFEEVILLE—Funeral services for Crystal Redmond Crump, 26, of Coffeeville, were held at eleven o’clock in the morning, Saturday, November 10, 2012, in the Mt. Moriah Association Building at Coffeeville. Burial followed in Hunter Chapel M.B., Church Cemetery in Como. Clark-Williams Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Crump died November 2, in Coffeeville.
    Born August 19, 1986, she was the daughter of Shirley Ramsey and Mickey Mister of Grenada. Mrs. Crump was a homemaker, a member of United Baptist Church, and a graduate of Coffeeville High School.
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crump is survived by her husband, Richard Crump, Jr. of Coffeeville; a daughter, Anquenette Crump of Coffeeville; two sons, Cydarrius Jordan and CaDarrius Crump of Coffeeville; five sisters, Sherita Gardner of Jackson, LaShun Venson of Chicago, Ill., Shakenya Stricklin, Krystle Borum and Taquita Mister, all of Coffeeville.


Christopher Lee Fillion

OZONE, Ark. — Christopher Lee Fillion, 38, passed away November 7, 2012, in a single vehicle accident near his home.
    He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
    A memorial service will be held November 17 at two o’clock in the afternoon in First Christian Church at Water Valley, with Bro. James West officiating. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. at the church.
    The body was cremated under the direction of Harwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Ark.
    He is survived by his wife, Kelly Fillion; two daughters, Isabelle Ward and Jessica Fillion, both of Ozone; two sons, Reid Fillion of Ft. Benning, Georgia and Ryan Fillion of Cabot, Ark.; his father, Clinton and Sharon Fillion of Russellville, Ark.; his mother, Thelma and Jim Davis of Water Valley; one sister, Teresa and Jeff Holland of Pottsville, Ark.; three brothers, Gene Fillion of Dover, Ark. and Donnie Fillion and Bobby Fillion of Hector, Ark.


Mary Pearl Green McCullough

PARIS—Mary Pearl Green McCull-ough, age 77, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at her home in Paris.
  Born in 1935 in Water Valley, she was a daughter of the late R. S. and Christine Boydston Green. Mary Pearl was an excellent athlete and played basketball at Camp Ground High School, where she was named valedictorian of her graduating class. She retired with over 25 years of service from the Department of Rehabilitation Services and was a faithful member of Paris Baptist Church for many years. Mary Pearl dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She spent her life taking care of others and sharing her love of Christ in her daily walk.
    The funeral service was held Saturday, November 10, at 10 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home, Water Valley, with Bro. Gerald Shook officiating. Burial was in the Paris Cemetery with Luke McCullough, Walt McCullough, Josh Mills, Dean Cummings, Brent Rushing, Chase McCullough, Andy Paul, and Henry Cummings as pallbearers.
     Survivors include her husband, Charles W. McCullough of Paris; one daughter, Tina Mills of Paris; four sons, Brooks McCullough of Paris, Charles McCullough (Suzanne) of Water Valley, Robert McCullough (Linda) of Paris, and Sidney McCullough (Dawn) of Batesville; one sister, Hazel Johnson of Water Valley; two brothers, Lewis Green (Louise)  of Water Valley, and Jimmy Green (Charlene) of Cookeville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky McCullough and a sister, Peggy Cummings.

Barbara Keel Poteete

WATER VALLEY—Barbara Keel Poteete, age 75, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the Grenada Living Center at Grenada.
    Born in 1937, Mrs. Poteete was a daughter of the late Burrell Zack and Lucille Douglas Keel. Barbara enjoyed cooking and loved her work at BorgWarner, where she retired after many years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Water Valley.
     A graveside service was held at four o’clock in the afternoon Friday, November 9, in Oak Hill Cemetery at Water Valley.
    Survivors include her husband, Bobby Poteete of Water Valley; one sister, Linda Doris (D.D.) of Paris; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Poteete of Big Creek.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Lee Poteete and Bryan Scott Poteete.
